what we see and why

here is how it went down –
my 3.5 yr old daughter dakota
was diagnosed in september
with HFA – high functioning autism

i have been immersed in that world/reality since
learning – reading – asking questions
it’s all autism – all the time
for the newly diagnosed

as we try to grab onto
anything to keep us standing
the knowledge we r not alone
there r others living this too

when i saw the anti bullying video
that mentioned barron
it spoke to the symptoms many ASD kids have
it was educational and informational

these symptoms so many do not understand
– i thought – how amazing IF
IF
it is true

IF it is true – i tweeted from my heart
it would help so much with the autism epidemic

1 in 55 kids is an epidemic
donald and i agree on that
and not much else
i feel he is a clear and present danger

but this autism subject –
had nothing to do with donald
though i admit
he does trigger me in all ways –

i have no ill will for his children –
or any children –
and if u knew anything about me –
u would know that

donald does not have the power
to change the facts
to re write history
so speak true – stand tall

THE WORLD IS WATCHING

for those who felt me a horror
what can i say
humans we
try r very best and fail often

peace out
as we try to save democracy
from this madman
who thinks OUR country is his

    Rosie,
Please stick to your word and Move.
How can you possibly throw stones at children when your own are not perfect!
I used to be a big fan of yours and now, not so much.
Over the past few years you stopped being funny and have just got nasty.
    It’s pathetic

  2. Justin C. says:

    Please just move.

  3. Fred Vonfirstenberg says:

I almost forgot. Why hasn’t Rosie replied to any of the posts to her blog?

  4. Fred Vonfirstenberg says:

I came here for one purpose and that’s to call you out, Rosie. You are a pathetic human being and an overwhelming majority of Americans don’t care about you and your opinions in any way.

Take the riches you’ve earned and slip away to a peaceful place and silently live out a long, healthy life.

I’m middle-aged and I’ve had enough of you to last a lifetime.

    Be gone.

  5. RosiesPassiveAggressiveTweet says:

I think my name says what I know. Shame on you Rosie, for using a child to take a shot at his father.! You are indeed spineless. Passive Aggressive CHEAP SHOT!!

  6. demetri says:

It’s cute how you try to excuse your own actions with this kind of reasoning. You knew very well what you were doing and the impact it would have.
I’m a gay guy and sort of a fan, but you kind of gross me out now after bullying a ten year old whom I assume you have never even met in real life.
It is thanks to people like you that the US has Trump as president now. Enjoy!

  7. Katy says:

Hi Rosie, I understand your intent. I’m the parent of a child affected by apraxia and autism, and I have been waiting for someone in a position of power to come along who has a child with autism too! When it happens, the parents will tell us, there won’t need to be speculation. And yes I agree, parents of children with autism are able to see autism more easily in other children.

  8. Harry Mattachine says:

So dumb for Totally Irrelevant Rosie. Who thinks the new Don of All Media won’t cancel the new show she would have been a regular cast member of; and probably without even waving a finger; he has People for that…

  9. Erika Garcia says:

Would the LGBT community and you be okay if we saw one of your underage children in the media and said, “You know, I think has AIDS. She has all the signs, and I recognize the sores.”
And then compiled video proof that called her a homo and yelled at her like the guy did towards Barron near the end of the video?

  10. D Duncan says:

Barron Trump isn’t an “opportunity”, as you loudly claim. He’s a child.

He isn’t yours to use for your own gain as you are doing. He isn’t in the public eye. He’s a child.

He hasn’t done a single thing to deserve your self-serving haranguing, but you saw an opportunity and used an innocent child to get some attention. You’re willing to publicly exploit a ten year old child to get your name in the news.

You can hardly get any lower, but I’m sure you’ll try.

  11. JenniferT says:

Rosie, I know that you never said that you were going to leave, but please know that if you ever change your mind, you would be welcomed into Canada with open arms.

I feel sad for what is going on in your country, and even sadder that so much hatred and vitriol is being directed at you. You don’t deserve this.

Peace, love and yellow to you and your family.

  12. I used to think you were a great comedienne but now I think you are just a bully. Sincerely, Charlene Galica

  13. J Parrish says:

I am a medical professional and Barron Trump fits into an autism profile. You don’t need to apologize for anything, Rosie. After Trump’s supremacist remarks about the superiority of his genetics and fabulousness of his offspring, he will never admit that this child is impaired. But the truth speaks for itself: the child ticks every box to fit into an autism diagnosis. Time will tell that the 10-year-old Trump in the Tower is autistic.

    • Erika Garcia says:

It takes far more than just one medical professional (and more than a 6 minute YouTube video) to properly diagnose autism. It takes a panel of 3-4 specialists in fields of psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, pediatrician…etc.
If you dare try to represent on social media an autism diagnosis, I hope that any education or license you have would be challenged by Trump lawyers for the harm you are helping perpetuate against Barron Trump.

  14. Isa Lai says:

Stupidity has limits and I think you overpassed the lines when commenting about a child that has nothing to do with whatever is in your heart and mind. I call this extreme spiritual poverty. You might have all the money you claim to have but mocking a child or speculating about his health in public, is just a comment who from less than low emotional and spiritual IQ. The hate for Donald Trump from the narrow Hollywood is worst than terrorism. Please guard your mouth, or should I say your…

  15. Diana Hairr says:

Rosie, pleeeeeeeez go to Canada as promised! You purposely took a cheap shot at Barron Trump.

  16. Victoria says:

Rosie I lived in the house across the street from you years ago. None the less. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this video! You might be doing research but you had no permission to personally attack a child with a movie for all to see speculating that he has autism. If it is true Donald has him well taken care of and it’s none of your business or anyone else’s for that matter! They don’t have to explain anything about their son ever, and it was so disrespectful for you to do this out…

  17. Linda says:

Rosie, that was a great apology you posted on Twitter today. Sincere and not wishy-washy.

    • Isa Lai says:

The apology was great??? really?? you have to validate because no one else does. Some people think that they will never see themselves falling down

      • Linda says:

Yes, it was great. No “if I offended you” type statement. It was a straight forward apology–I’m truly sorry. Also in her apology, she acknowledged the insensitivity of her retweet. Rosie was wrong and she admitted it through a Twitter apology without mincing words.
