Steve Schmidt gave me chills when he spoke about pernicious Newt and Trump’s shameful treatment of Refugees. Like you, he is a true patriot who hasn’t forgotten who we have always been as a Democratic nation. U were two individuals from opposite sides of the aisle finding common ground based on the values of decency, morals, compassion, & strength.
