Trump signed 30 Executive Orders in his 1st 100 days, 11 more than Obama & 19 more than G.W. Bush. The purpose of the EO was for war or other emergencies, when there wasn’t time to go thru Congress. Recently, EOs are used when Congress has trouble finding a solution. It looks like Trump’s using them because it’s easier & makes him look important.
