Hi Rosie, took your advice and told my 5yr old son he is adopted.Explained in kids term what adopted meant etc. His reply? I adopt you too. We adopt each other. Stopped me cold.I know we will have to have more in-depth conversation as he grows & questions..but God I love my kid! Thanks for helping this scared mama come to grips with it.
