it’s funny how people blame. 2 yrs ago, 24 yo girl we’d fostered died in a hit and run. she was homeless, mentally ill and on drugs. It was in the news and the foster system was blamed, even when we told them that it wasn’t -dozens of people had gone above and beyond to help her, but she was too mentally ill to accept the help that was offered.
