Susan writes: October 30, 2015 11:54 am As a therapist I can attest to the fact that, when dealing with BPD, a parent can do the right things and the child still becomes someone who is in a very sad place. It isn't personal, it is an illness. Personality disorders are so hard because often the behavior can seem rational to those believing only the twisted story of the ill individual. http://www.linehaninstitute.org

marsha is an amazing woman - i am lucky to know her

she has helped our family very much
Lisa writes: October 30, 2015 11:50 am to Kelly...."BPD is brutal..." the truth and honesty of your statement in it's entirety is comforting to those who've been there and who are there...thank you for sharing from the heart. yup
karen writes: October 30, 2015 11:50 am I am a parent of 5. It has its beauty and it's ugly side.. In 1 year your daughter will see stuff different. Life will teach her sure and fast. Till then, breath and enjoy the ones left. . amen
Kai Ellis writes: October 30, 2015 11:47 am Inside Edition should be taken out and throttled, taking advantage of a confused, sick 18-year old girl and a woman in need of money and willing to sell out your daughter. Such a shame! i agree
a new low
even for tabloid tv

Kelly writes: October 29, 2015 8:28 pm BPD is brutal. My mother and sister both struggled but faked normal for years. People had no idea the illogical thinking, self obsession and disregard for others we dealt with in the house. The healthy members of our family felt sick with guilt and confusion until we learned, the only way to survive it in tact was to step away from it. Stay strong.

Peggy writes: October 29, 2015 3:49 pm I wonder how Chelsea would feel if you did a “tell all” interview? Think she would be embarrassed if you told us all the things that led up to her needing to be placed in a school for troubled kids? She is selling her soul for money. Still playing the role of a “Cash Cow”, sad. yes

and i told her i would do one ---
if she did another

so lets see
