Today my teenage niece had a baby whom she gave up for adoption. This was the right choice for her and baby and the family who yearned for a child. But, my goodness, this is hard. I am in awe of her strength to know to do it. I thought of you and others today who feel the joy. I wasn’t expecting this sense of loss. How do we help her feel joy?
