Healing the adoption pain (realistic or distorted) of a child you adopt is one of the most generous gifts of parenting that is known to humankind. My daughter has adopted one boy and hopes to adopt a foster boy they are raising. Sometimes I wonder if they have any idea of the pain they will encounter later on. I hope they are prepared and resilient
