I have the opposite experience as an adult, my mother has abandoned me, and my beautiful children who wish for a grandmother. There is no understanding why. Know that there are those of us who wished we had a mother like you who fought for us, wanted us, and tried to protect us. That is the kind of mother I hope to be as my kids grow. xoxo
