Yesterday, I told my therapist. In my very early 20s, I was molested by a doctor one night when I was in the hospital for surgery the next day. A couple of years later, I was violently assaulted on a blind date. It was over 40 years ago. I remember the specific details, yet not the day or month or what happened before or after. Trauma does that.
