Tell me your thoughts on how to get over this: in May I lent a friend (of 22 yrs) $825 to get his car repaired. Trusted him. No word from him since. He’s not going to pay me back – I know that now. How do I stop the hate? I didn’t have extra $ – but I worried that he couldn’t get to work – lose his job without a car. Sigh.
