Materials:
Framed mirror
Scrap wrapping paper
Mod Podge
4 plastic cups (or soup cans)
EnviroTex Lite High Gloss Finish*
Sponge brush
 
*Or an alternative polycoating product.

Carefully remove the glass from the frame. Tip: A wider frame is better as it will give you a larger surface for decoupaging.

Cut out strips of wrapping paper, or images from the paper.

Apply a layer of Mod Podge to the back of a paper strip (or paper image) and the frame. Place the strip (or image) on the frame. Repeat this process for all your strips (or images). After you are done, cover the entire frame with a coat of Mod Podge and allow it to dry.

Using four plastic cups or soup cans, elevate the frame.

We use EnviroTex Lite High Gloss Finish, which creates a clear, glass-like coat that is equal to 50 coats of varnish. You can use an alternative polycoating product – just be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Pour the coating all over the frame and use the sponge brush to push the liquid around evenly. Let your project sit overnight to dry.
