CLEANING SEASHELLS

To clean off sandy seashells for use in your craft project, collect them in a bucket of warm, soapy water and add a couple caps of bleach. Let the shells soak, then rinse them off. You can also bleach shells to pure white by soaking them overnight in a mixture of equal parts bleach and water. Just make sure there is enough liquid to completely cover the shells.
